The DURAGLO River Rat is a night fishing game changer. 

Why is this the best rodent fly I’ve ever released? 

-Predator Shank allows for split ring hook attachment. This allows a free hanging smaller hook. It also allows you to change the position and type of hook. It can be mounted behind the foam head area of the fly, at the rear of the fly, or both. You can also swap in treble hooks and even replace dull hooks with fresh ones. 

-DURAGLO Glow tabs. The most durable and brightest glowing night fishing sighter 

-Double stack folded high density Evazote foam (MFC High Rise Foam) for durability and the highest float. It also helps prevent rotation on the shank, making a much more seated plate. 

-Synthetic mouse fur Schlappen mix creates a very lifelike and “ratty” or “rodent” body. The fish love it.

-Increased hookup ratio. The free swinging stinger hook moves and orients with the fishes mouth as nocturnal browns “slash” at the fly. This means you end up hooking more fish, and converting more splashes and strikes into fish in the net, a critical component of night fishing. 

-Pushes a perfect “mouse wake” if you’ve ever seen a mouse swim, you’ll see this fly in the water and realize that it swims the exact same. It’s pretty remarkable.
