Limited Release - Flex head Kokanee - 1/0

Fishing for bull trout is a favorite for many diehard anglers, myself included. There’s nothing like watching a fish over 30 inches absolutely inhale an 8-10 inch fly. 

In many systems, Kokanee roam lakes and run into rivers and end up being the primary forage for large mature bull trout. If you want to catch a big bull and you’ve done some research on the area you’re fishing, you know you should have some Kokanee flies. 

These flies are the best of the best. Tied with 1/0-2/0 Gamukatsu steel, they’re quite large. They won’t bend out, and sticky sharp Gamukatsu hooks make sure you get lots of hookups. The flexible and durable head means you won’t lose the eyes on your streamer, it’ll last many more fish than your average streamer, and it pushes water, providing more movement and more lateral line disturbance for big bulls. The materials and construction used meant to provide a large profile while still being easy to cast. 

I tie these in very limited quantities, and my truly large streamers are usually out of stock. I’m doing my best to tie more of them, but I demand the highest quality in my own tying, and the time required to tie these means that I can’t produce them as often as I’d like.
