6 Pack - Duracell

The bulletproof bugs spinoff of the Duracell has become really fun popular with my customers! I mix the normal dubbing with a special purple/pink dubbing to tie it a unique shine and shimmer in the water. The original UV brown is an Incredible color, but through years of trial and time on the water, I found that the biggest trout in the best fast feeding lanes of my favorite western rivers preferred a slightly different dubbing mix (a top secret one. Shhhhh). An all time favorite tungsten nymph for many anglers. I’ve noticed that this fly produces exceptionally well, even when smaller bugs are hatching. I like to fish it right off of seams and drops where fish have to make a split second decision on whether to eat a fly or not. I’ve also found it particularly effective for fishing in pressured water
