THEY ARE BACK FOLKS! $1 MIDGES HAVE RETURNED
Let's be honest, a simple midge pattern is not worth what many fly shops and big companies charge for it. A size 24 black beauty should not be $2.50. That's busted. On top of that, it's also probably tied overseas on a poor quality hook and without super glue or high quality resin to make it durable. At risk of sounding prideful, let me tell you why this is a way better option.

Specifications for my Midges:
-TIED IN THE USA! Every single fly is tied by me, and every single fly is tied in Rexburg Idaho, USA BABY!
-Size 18-24, with the majority being 22 (the most common size for winter midges across the US)
-Tied on 3X Heavy wire scud hooks. Most companies use 1x or 2x heavy wire. 3X is the real deal. Massive fish can be landed on tiny flies when the hook is good.
-Thin and proportional. None of those janky poor quality thick bodies that you see on lots of commerically produced midges.
-Heads finished in superglue or RaidZap resin. This is CRUCIAL. What good is a fly that falls apart after 2 casts and one 9 inch fish?

Paying $2.50 for a size 24 midge only to bend out the hook on a big fish is borderline disrespectful. Don't do that to yourself!!!!
These assortments include 50 popular and effective simple midge patterns. Daily drivers, bread and butter, producers. Whatever you call them, they FISH. No frills, just high quality, durable flies, tied in the USA, with top notch steel. Simple patterns that produce RESULTS. The mix will be of larva, pupa, and adults, with most of them being pupa and larva. (Fish eat much more larva and pupa than adult midges)
