The flash collar has become one of my favorite pattern platforms. Originally a concept from British Columbia stillwater tyers and Colorado tailwater midge enthusiasts, the idea made it over to Pyramid Lake and quickly became popular when it produced loads of big fish. The red and gold scheme is a familiar one for the salty puddle, and always seems to catch lots of fish.
