Perdigons, ah, a classic tight line style of fly.
I'm big on finding new materials and ways to use them, and I'm excited to announce that in addition to selling custom flies, I will be providing a selection of tying materials. My goal in doing this is to provide unique materials that solve problems in fly tying, and give a unique and "fishy" look to your bugs. I found a great source for semi-sticky, fully re-positionable synthetic body wrap that I'll have available in a large range of colors, semi transparent and opaque. Because it is re-positionable, it wont stick to itself and get all destroyed, but it will lightly stick to your thread base, which prevents the wrap from slipping on your thread body and frustrating you.
I will also have a wide array of colors that I haven't found anywhere else. Pictured here is the Iridescent Purple Copper color, and it is SUPER fishy and durable. Keep your eyes peeled for it to hit the website soon!
